Rolex Daytona

Rolex GMT-Master II

Two time zones, iconic bezel combinations — "Pepsi", "Batman" or "Sprite". The GMT-Master II is the travel watch among sports models, and certain bezel variants have become sought-after collector items in their own right.

The Datejust is the most versatile entry into the Rolex world and available in countless dial, bezel and bracelet combinations. The Day-Date — the "President" — remains the brand's status statement in solid gold. Both are classics whose pre-owned prices are noticeably friendlier than the sports models.

How much does a Rolex cost?

There is no single answer — the price depends on five factors: model and reference, condition, completeness (full set with box and papers commands a premium), production year and the current market situation. As a rule of thumb, classic models such as the Datejust start well below the sports models; Submariner, GMT and especially Daytona trade above their list prices depending on availability. Every watch in our shop shows a binding daily price — and because we buy and sell every day, our prices follow the real market, not wishful thinking.

Is a Rolex a good investment? An honest assessment

Rolex watches hold their value better than almost any other consumer good — but they are not a guaranteed investment. After the market correction since 2022, prices for many references have normalised. Our honest take as dealers: buy the watch you want to wear. If it holds or gains value, that is a bonus. Steel sports models with full set historically retain value best.
